Lovable.dev
Lovable.dev lets you build full-stack web applications by describing what you want in plain English. It generates React-based frontends, connects to Supabase for databases and authentication, and lets you deploy a live app without writing code manually. You can iterate on your app through conversation, and it integrates with GitHub so developers can also edit the code directly.
Models and pricing
Trying the platform out with a small project or proof of concept
Credits reset daily, but 5 is not many — you will hit the limit quickly on any serious build. Good enough to evaluate whether Lovable suits your workflow before paying.
Individual builders working on one or two small projects per month
Each AI action (a prompt that generates or edits code) costs roughly 1 credit. 100 credits goes faster than you might expect on a complex app, but it covers light-to-moderate use. Pick this if you are building casually or learning.
Active builders shipping real products who need more runway
A reasonable middle ground for someone iterating heavily on a product. Lovable has positioned this as their most popular tier. Pick this if you are building something you intend to actually launch.
Power users, agencies, or teams running multiple projects simultaneously
Aimed at heavier users or small teams. Lovable does not currently offer a formal multi-seat team plan with shared credits as of early 2025, so this is still mostly individual use at high volume. Pick it if you consistently exhaust lower tiers.
Any paid plan user who runs out of credits mid-month
Lovable sells top-up credits if you exceed your monthly allowance. Useful as a safety valve but not economical as a primary strategy — upgrade your plan if you are buying extras regularly.
Which model should you use?
Start with the Free plan to see if Lovable can actually build what you have in mind, then move to Launch ($50/month) if you are serious about shipping a product — Starter's 100 credits disappear faster than expected on anything beyond a simple app.
